Finding and Keeping a Job
Employment Support Services empower individuals with disabilities to achieve their career goals by providing personalised assistance at every stage of the employment process. From individualised career planning and job skills development to job search support and supported employment placements, we help individuals build confidence, develop essential skills, and secure meaningful, sustainable employment.

Transport and Activity Based Transport
This line item can be used to fund transportation services
that are not linked to other supports. This is any travel costs incurred as part of the participant taking part in activities in line with their NDIS goals.
Support Coordination Level 1 & 2
This Support Item assists participants in understanding and implementing their NDIS plan by connecting them with broader support systems and service providers. This support helps participants effectively utilise their funded supports, navigate complex service environments, and build a resilient network of formal and informal supports. Through coaching and capacity-building, participants gain the skills to direct their lives, make informed decisions about their services, and design their support network according to their needs and goals.
Specialised Transport To School, Educational Facility, Employment and Community
Specialised transport services for a participant to a school, educational facility, employment, or the community. This support item is subject to quotation. It should only be used if it is a stated item in a plan.
Psychosocial Recovery Coaching
Psychosocial Recovery Coaching supports individuals with psychosocial disabilities by helping them navigate recovery, build resilience, and achieve personal goals. Coaches provide guidance, connect participants to services, and assist in managing daily challenges to promote independence and social participation. This service is delivered by a specialised Support Coordinator.
Innovative Community Participation
This support code refers to the cost of participating in a community activity rather than the supports/support worker to accompany the participant. This support item is designed to enable providers to offer new and innovative services to participant and is for mainstream providers who want to enable participants to access mainstream activities.
Group Activities
Group Activities provide participants with opportunities to engage in social, recreational, and skill-building activities in a supportive group setting. These activities encourage social interaction, teamwork, and personal development, helping participants build confidence and strengthen connections with others.

Gennia
Rehabilitation Counsellor and Support Coordinator
With a philosophy to help others and to influence with integrity Gennia’s profession as a Rehabilitation Counsellor sees her working with a varied clientele as well as business partners to achieve the best outcomes for everyone. Gennia’s multidisciplinary skills and experiences make her a one-of-a kind Rehabilitation Counsellor whereby her far-reaching world-view is employed to guide individuals. With a passion and a knack for career and job matching Gennia continues to participate in various projects in and around Sydney influencing others to achieve their career goals.
To highlight, as a Rehabilitation Counsellor, Gennia's excellent Case Management skills are inherent in this discipline. Hence, Support Coordination comes naturally to her. She operates with integrity and ensures participants and supports in place are true to goals. Gennia also brings with her experience a trusted network including government agencies, community supports, health supports, universities and several organisations with aligned passions. Gennia's knowledge is extensive and is utilised in participants' best interests.
In 2024, Gennia established an employment centre in Smithfield also known as the Working Bee to support the employment opportunities of individuals living with a disability. Our centre is designed to help you achieve your goals and is a safe and inclusive space for individuals with a disability, offering support and empowerment through creative projects.
Selena
Operations Manager & Support Coordinator
Selena is a dedicated Support Coordinator who combines personal lived experience with strong professional expertise to create meaningful outcomes for people living with disabilities. Growing up with a brother diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (Level 2) and Kabuki Syndrome, Selena developed an intimate understanding of the everyday challenges individuals and their families can face. This personal connection has been the foundation of her lifelong commitment to advocating for inclusive, empowering support services.
Selena’s educational journey reflects her passion for both care and justice. She holds qualifications as an Assistant in Nursing (AIN) and is in her final year completing a Bachelor of Policing with a major in Criminal Justice. This unique combination allows Selena to navigate complex systems, advocate effectively, and maintain a client-centred approach rooted in empathy, respect, and practical problem-solving.
In her role as a Support Coordinator, Selena is deeply committed to building strong, trusting relationships with participants and their families. She understands that each person’s path is different, and she tailors her support to help participants access the services, therapies, and community connections that align with their goals and aspirations.
A core part of Selena’s approach is encouraging the development of working capabilities and skills, recognising that employment and meaningful engagement are vital for fostering independence, confidence, and social connection. Selena works closely with participants to identify strengths, build capacity, and open pathways to education, training, volunteering, and employment opportunities, ensuring that each person has the tools and support needed to thrive in their chosen pursuits.
Selena’s lived experience, combined with her professional training, gives her a unique perspective and an authentic voice when advocating for the rights and needs of people with disabilities. She is passionate about empowering individuals to not only achieve their immediate goals but also to dream bigger, knowing they have a committed and capable advocate walking beside them every step of the way.
